SHAIGAN stepped into pharmaceutical business in 1993 with the drug production of solid dosage form only. Within a small period of time SHAIGAN also introduced other types of dosages i.e. ointments and lotions in 2001 and inject-able dosage in 2005. Although; SHAIGAN extended its scope of products through launching various forms of dosages in its product range; however it achieved landmark milestone when it started producing the Lyophilized form of dosage in 2008. This has been a matter of pride for SHAIGAN to achieve this milestone and became the first among its competitors to produce Lyophilized form of dosage in Pakistan.
At the moment SHAIGAN stands as 10th largest pharmaceutical company in Pakistan with the strength of more than 1000 employees at its end. This storming achievement on the part of SHAIGAN is unequivocal testimony of enthusiasm, competence and consistency as core principles of its functioning. Today we are a reliable name in the pharmaceutical world; winning bulk of the market share by dint of our consistent hard work and dedication to our principles. Accreditation
ISO/IEC 17025:2005
Shaigan has got International Laboratory Accreditation ISO/IEC 17025:2005 that recognizes that the laboratory is professionally competent to perform tests. This international accreditation covers both management as well as technical operations. Management requirements are primarily related to the operation and effectiveness of the quality management system within the laboratory. Technical requirements address the competence of staff, methodology and test/calibration equipment.
